The extensive-type cultivation of the tomato takes place in open fields under the Puglia sun. The farmers, gathered in the Organization of Producers (OP), follow the requirements of the Integrated Production Discipline for the Conventional Cultivation Method and those dictated by the Regulation CE 834/07 concerning the cultivation method for organic farming.
